Kingdom Builders is an "intro youth group" for kids in grades 1 -5 that combines Bible studies, activities, games, and crafts in a fun, energized setting. Meets weekly on Mondays during the school year from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.
First Baptist Church is the host location for the Personal Needs Pantry, which provides household cleaning and personal care items to low income families in Jacksonville and the surrounding area.

Our junior high and high school youth group meets weekly on Sundays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm during the school year. Bible studies are coupled with fun outings and service opportunities.
Our chapter of ABWM meets monthly on Thursday afternoons at 1:30 pm. ABWM helps with mission work around the world. Our main project each year is supplying rolled bandages that can be used for varied purposes in the countries to which they are sent.

Sis Goben, RN, has served as our Parish Nurse since 2005. Sis travels weekly to visit and pray with all our nursing home resident and homebound members, visits members and friends who are in the hospital, helps with many medical questions, and assists families with many other needs. Sis also holds a blood pressure clinic on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 8:30 - 9:00 am (just before church starts).
GIGGLES: Girls In God, Growing, Laughing Eating, Sharing - is an opportunity for the women of the church to meet for a once-per-month meal to support each other and enjoy each other's company. Meals are held at different restaurants each month, usually on a Wednesday evening.

Vacation Bible School is held for one week each summer, usually from 6:00 -8:30 pm. The VBS theme for 2018 is "Game On!"
