Come ready to experience cool songs, great stories, and fun crafts!  Each night will begin with a light supper for participants/students:
Monday - ham/cheese sliders with chips
Tuesday - chicken nuggets with mac & cheese
Wednesday - pizza
Thursday - hotdog cookout!

Mondays during the school year
4:00 - 5:30 PM
Kingdom Builders is an "intro youth group" for kids in grades 1 -5.  Kingdom Builders combines Bible studies, activities, games, and crafts in a fun, energized setting.  Meets weekly during the school year.


Summer church camps

First Baptist Church supports Lake Springfield Baptist Camp in Chatham, Illinois.  Camps of varying duration are held throughout the summer.  Our pastor and several members serve as camp Director and Counselors.

Youth Group

Our youth group for grades 6-12 meets weekly on Sundays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm during the school year and periodically throughout the summer.  Bible studies are coupled with fun outings and service opportunities. 


Personal Needs Pantry

First Baptist Church is the host location for the Personal Needs Pantry, which provides household cleaning and personal care items to low income families in Jacksonville and the surrounding area.
